Strangeness and Charm

I'm in the mood to read some fics but haven't had much luck searching these past few days. So I'm looking for your favorites for any of these 3 ships:
1. Doctor/Rose-9/Rose and 10/Rose preferred, but I guess I could read 11/Rose too if there's one out there you really like. Oh yeah, and Cloen is fine too.

2. Harry/Hermione-been in a mood for this lately. I've mostly been finding one-shots which have been good, but I'm in the mood for something a bit longer.

3. Angel/Cordelia-OLD SHIP BUT I LOVE THEM AND MISS THEM SO MUCH! And I feel like I haven't been giving them much attention lately.

Much appreciated! Oh, and for Doctor/Rose, if it's at Teaspoon that's fine, but if they also have the story at fanfiction.net or LJ I would prefer that link as the site background distracts me and I usually have to copy/paste the story in a word document.

So. I wrote fic. Harry/Hermione, kind of angsty and different from anything I've written.

I think I'm getting pulled back into the Harry Potter fandom. It's a mixture of the new movie, the HHR fandom being active again, and my complete love for this ship.

I can't stop listening to O Children.

What has this movie done to me? 

Does anyone have any recs for a good Harry/Hermione fic? I've been craving them like mad lately.

I'm kind of tempted to read the story just to see if it's snark worthy.

Thanks to the HBP movie and (because my NaNoWriMo fic is going to be for Harry Potter) I've been rereading the series, I've fallen in love with Harry/Hermione all over again.

I'd almost forgotten how much I love this pairing. They were my first obsession, the first couple I wrote for, the first couple to really give me the warm fuzzy feeling that my ships give me. These past few days I've been going fic searching. Who knows, maybe I'll even write something.


Also? The song titled Harry & Hermione for the HBP soundtrack is awesome and I love it.

According to my calculator, with all of my fics put together I have about 88,442 words written. Which is a lot for me. On fanfiction.net I am on the author alerts of 41 authors and the favorite author of 40, with a total of 533 reviews. On HPFF I have 1,232 reviews and am on 55 people's favorites.

Update wise, I've been writing more lately which is making me very happy. I haven't been writing much this year, sadly. Usually a chapter every 3 months or so. Hopefully this'll keep up, because I really want to finish my stories. I have been writing most of them for 3 years, and I am getting pretty tired of them. I want them over so I can work on new things, preferably for other fandoms since I don't really like Harry Potter anymore. I joined a community called ficfinishing  that I plan to participate in once I get settled in more to my new schedule with school and choir.  I also want to try to plan some of my stories out so that i have a more clear idea of where most of them are going. Figures that the one story I plan out, The Perfect Life?, has the notebook it was written in tossed in a box because we're packing up my room so that we can redo the carpets.

Wow, that's a lot. And I actually had to narrow a ton of things down since I have like, 12 work in progresses. *dies* I really need to complete some stories. Like, out of the 9 completed stories I have, only 2 are non one-shots. That's kind of sad. But I really love writing one-shots, and I've been writing more of them lately. I like it because you get an idea, sit down and write it for a bit, and then it's done. No real commitment, no more thoughts.

Looks like i have some busy months ahead of me. >_<




 

I recently refound a story that was recommended to me about a year ago by hmsharmony. I can honestly say that it's one of the best stories I've ever read. It is an HHR though, and while I know many of you on my f-list don't like HHR, well, I still think you'll like it. Warning: it'll make you cry buckets. I'm not kidding. This isn't one of those "tissue warning" fics that might leave you a bit choked up but nothing more. There will be actual tears. It's called Survivor by atruwriter. Here's the summary:
Waiting. He was always waiting. He'd already buried one best friend and now the other will follow. There was nothing he could do or say. There was no Harry without Hermione. Ron witnessed the beginning and now he must accept the end. HHr
