TMI moment: so first off, since my TV doesn't get Fox, I always have to watch my shows on Hulu. Today's sponsor was some sort of vaginal cream, so I sat through this really long commercial and when it got to all the side-affects part (and before) I was laughing so hard at the poor men who had to sit through that. /end TMI moment
These thoughts are going to be pretty random and not very coherent.
I was totally expecting everyone to die off like they did in Angel, but it totally didn't happen! He even let a ship have a happy ending! Be still my beating heart. (even if I would have loved to have the happy ending ship be Cordy/Angel, but oh well) . Every time there was a battle scene or anything I was preparing myself for half the cast to die. I felt sort of meh about Paul. BUT MY POOR TOPHER! All of his scenes were really sad. Crazy Topher :( His scenes with Adelle were totally heartbreaking, too. I loved it when Adelle defended him when Zone insulted him. When he died, I was like, "NO! NOT TOPHER" and then I was really mean and wanted one of the blank dolls to do it instead.
I loved Alpha liking Topher's area because it really spoke to the schizophrenic in him (actually two).
I know that they didn't have much time and they had to cover so much, but there were things I was curious about. How did Claire go from that dude (Clyde was his name, right?) to Whiskey? What about Dominic? What happened to him? Did he just stay in the attic forever? I wish the show had more time.
I gotta admit, the ending kinda reminded me of Breaking Dawn. Bella finally let Edward enter her mind, Paul went into Echo's. Except I hate Twilight and like Dollhouse, even if I don't like Echo/Paul.
It wasn't the greatest episode ever, but it was satisfactory and better than last week. It tied things up pretty well and it felt like an end.

He needs someone to tell him "NO" and to give ideas for his stuff to be really good. On his own, he puts far too much effort into killing everyone off and ruining their characters. /Joss dislike

Date: 2010-02-03 09:33 pm (UTC)I've never read any of the Buffy or Angel comics, so I wouldn't really know. I keep meaning to pick up some of the Buffy Season 8 comics, because I hear bad things about them but I still want to see for myself. And I don't really want to read the Angel ones, because I like the implication that everyone dies.
