I don't know if it's because school has lowered my brain cells or if my expectations have been lowered or something else but I'm enjoying Bones this season! There is actual focus on the case *le gasp* on other characters besides Booth and Brennan *le gasp* the humor isn't too over the top and I actually found myself giggling at a few parts *le gasp* and actually enjoyed the Booth/Brennan moments too.

But man, the newest episode was wonderful. There was respect for the culture and they made the victim likeable rather than "Oh, this sucker deserved it because he was a bitch and the murderer was a bitch too so it's all good" and the piano bits were beautiful. I played piano from ages seven to fourteen, so it brought back some memories and made me feel even sadder than I already was.

It was nice seeing Michelle again, too, and her boyfriend getting threatened by Booth was hilarious. I could totally picture that happening. I've found that each episode has been better than the one before, so hopefully they'll keep that up! I was really worried about this season and was thinking about not watching at all, so this is a pleasant surprise.

What are your thoughts so far?

Sorry this is so late, by the way. We don't get Fox (lame!) and hulu's been a bitch for me lately (double lame!) so I didn't get a chance to watch until recently.

I totally agree, too! The last episode made me cry, it was so sad! I love the bits of humour and the incredible awkwardness on Booth's side sometimes. XD It's rather more fun that the B/B ship is one-sided at the moment (well, not entirely, but what Bones feels is never really shown?).
