Ten: We could travel around the universe together and reminsece about our childhood and everything. But you'd basically be my prisoner.
Master: Kill me now. NO, I'M NOT REGENERATING.

Ten: He's just like me! Except genocidal and depressed and kind of like I was when we first met! Also HE WAS BORN IN BATTLE and he's a real fixer upper. Enjoy!
Rose: What?

Except for the most part (minus the Master) they end up going along with it after all. The companions do, anyway. No wonder none of the creatures the Doctor meets takes him up on his offer of "leave them alone and I'll find you a happy new peaceful place to COEXIST"

god, I hate Season Four. WHICH IS SO SAD BECAUSE DONNA AND DONNA/TEN BFF-NESS ARE MY FAAAAAAAVORITES. but, my god, Rose never ever ever ever ever ever should have come back. ruined her entire character arc.
