I've been sick with a cold since Friday (and stayed home from school yesterday and today) so I've been watching a lot of TV.

+Dollhouse ASJFK. I was like :O the entire episode. BUT ECHO/PERRIN MAKES ME SO HAPPY BECAUSE IT'S LIKE WES/FAITH ALL OVER AGAIN. That scene where they were taking the GPS tag out of each other's neck? HOT. And Topher!Victor was fucking hilarious. I thought nothing could beat Kiki!Victor. Clearly I was wrong. And Topher is awesome, Adelle was kick ass, and there needs to be more Adelle/Topher. Though one thing that did ruin the whole Wes/Faith reunion thing was Eliza's acting. She was so good as Faith. It's a shame that she's not so great as Echo :( Anyway, looking forward to the next eps.

+Bones I saw bits and pieces of Tough Man on TV a while ago and that was enough for me, so I skipped that episode and watched the museum episode and then the ones after it. I know a lot of people on my f-list either adore this season or hate it. I know it's better than last season by loads and there are parts of it I really enjoy, but I'm definitely not as enamored by Bones as I used to be, and the drop in quality is still definitely there. It feels like I'm watching a completely different show. The Bones of before (1 and 2 and sort of 3) and the Bones of now.

I however noticed that Booth didn't deny being in love with Brennan when Wyatt (Stephen Fry FTW, btw) brought it up. I am, however, getting absolutely sick of everyone talking about how much Booth/Brennan are in love. Doesn't anyone have anything better to do with their time? I HATE it when people start banging me on the head with a hammer on "how perfect they are". But I gotta admit, the scene where Brennan adjusted his tie and Booth played with her hair was pretty cute.

I know given my current layout it must make me sound hypocritical. But it was Christmasy and I wanted something festive for my layout! :D

+Merlin hmsharmony and I have a deal where she'll watch Angel if I watch Merlin. I started watching yesterday and I am about to start episode 6. It's pretty awesome so far! (Happy yet, Mel?) My thoughts: ARTHUR'S HOT. Morgana's pretty and I want her dresses. WTF LANCELOT SHUT UP YOU'RE ANNOYING AND I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD GET A VIOLIN OUT EVERY TIME YOU TALK. At this point I'm kind of shipping Arthur/Morgana and Gwen/Merlin with a side of Arthur/Merlin. The show can be pretty lulzy sometimes. I was cracking up at the first line of the first episode. It was so cheesy!

I need some Merlin icons. Damn it LJ, sell permanent accounts already!

We've already talked about all of this on AIM for, like, seven hundred hours, but OMG YES ARTHUR IS HOT. And Morgana is way too pretty. And I want her dresses too.

The show is amazing lol, and the amount of talent in the fandom is shocking and beautiful, lets just say this is one fandom definitely not lacking in epic length stories.

But OMG I love Lancelot, actually. I just like having all that sexy at once, hee! ;) The first season is full of epic awesome!! The second season is a little more hit and miss, but I still have faith in them.

Dude. Can I show you the cutest little gif ever? It's from a later season 2 episode of Merlin...it's not spoilery at all. But it totally reminds me of what you're talking about. (And may also convert you to my completely not obvious at allOTP ;D.)

What you say about Bones is totally true though. I hate, hate, HATE it when "romances" are shoved down our throats. When you have to announce it to the world EVERY. SINGLE. EPISODE, that probably means that it can't stand on its own and therefore probably isn't all that great/solid to begin with. Bah!

I don't miss watching this show one bit though. But I am glad to hear that it's at least partially better than last year.

(Look at that! I still have one B/B icon....why I haven't deleted it yet, I'll never know. Well, probably because I really liked them in this episode and it was one of my favourite B/B moments ever... All the rest can GTFO though ;))

I started watching it because my daughter wanted to - it's brill! You might find you ship different people by season two *g*

I am one of those people loving Bones this year, so I'll not go on about that ;)

Bones. Haha I'm loving this season. Though to be honest I didn't hate season 4, and in particular I though that towards the end of the season the episodes really picked up, for example, The Salt in the Wounds really struck me as an episode reminiscent of older Bones while not meaning that the characters/storylines had relapsed or anything.

I think I'm just all for a change. We've had those old eps and now I'm happy going on the shippy ride because really I'm just a hopeless romantic like that haha.

Your Bones comments = exactly my thoughts. I HATED Tough Man with a passion. I've never hated a Bones ep that much before. And I hate how all the characters are so obsessed with how BB are "so in love" all of a sudden.

Hmm, you are going to have a hard time reading my Bones-posts then! Haha. They are full of shippery flail usually.

But I will say that although I think season 5 has seen a vast improvement over season 4, I agree with you that it's still a different show than the Bones of seasons 1 and 2. I've just decided to roll with it is all, and take it for what it is, rather than compare it every week. Anytime I see a throwback to the old Bones though, it makes me really happy.

Also, I'm so with you on your Dollhouse comments! Topher!Victor and Kiki!Victor were like the best things ever, and the world can never have enough Topher/Adelle scenes. They are win.
