I'm torn

I'm so torn. Should I be  happy right now that Obama won, or should I start crying over certain results of props?

I went to bed last night with such joy in my heart, and, for the first time in a long time, hope for our country.

Now my heart just feels...empty.

Maybe it's just a dream, or a mess-up or something, but I doubt it.

WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU, CALIFORNIA????

Edit- at least 2 is yes and no seems to be winning on 4.

I know how you feel, except for the torn bit. All of my elections had unfavorable results ;).

They're still waiting on 8% of the precincts to turn in their votes, but yeah. It looks like prop 8 is going to pass.

That truly sickens me.

What's worse is that all day I'm going to be hearing the celebration of some of my friends over that. I've always tried to be respectful of their views no matter how different they are from mine (and they are completely) but I'm not sure how I can handle it. I may have to post a rant later on exactly WHY 8 is bad just because I will probably keep my "no comment" policy with them. No matter how hard it is.

I can't believe that.. I thought for sure it'd be rejected. Jesus Christ, that makes me sick.
