Nope, the only thing I did was to make my own chocolate sauce since we never have any.

ETA: nevermind, the chocolate sauce was for a different recipe. No, I didn't, though I think the first time I was a bit lazier about separating all the ingredients before heating them up. But it still tasted fine.
