Yeah, Rose wanted to have an actual relationship with the Doctor and wasn't all, "I DON'T KNOW IF I WANT TO GET MARRIED SO SEX NAO PLZ, JUST ONE MORE BEFORE MY WEDDING. I DON'T WANT A RELATIONSHIP" I could like Amy a lot, but there isn't really any development and she was basically pushed to the side this series to promote River's character and mystery.
And I just don't get why Rose is considered selfish and annoying and etc while Amy is so awesome and is perfect. Maybe it's because she was created by Moffat? He has a lot of fangirls lol
