And Rose learned that she needed to be nicer to him, she did have that growth, whereas from what I've seen and heard, Amy hasn't learned to appreciate Rory. Or at least, it's taken her a lot bloody longer. She makes my blood boil with how hurtful she is to him, and I don't think Rose was ever that casually cruel.
SMH for the 'attempted seduction the night before her wedding'. Nearly nobody that I've seen has a problem with that, and it infuriates me!
