Well, in theory I tend to prefer canon, but it's how the show tends to work it out. For example, take Booth/Brennan. I loved them in seasons 1 and 2, but once the show started really working at getting them together, I was like, "Hmmm, no." Even with Cordy/Angel, though I loved the whole thing, once they started throwing out words like kyerumption and moira, I got a little annoyed. Can't there just be two people in love without throwing in words like destiny and fate?

Even in some cases where I'd want my ship to be canon, just to have it taken away later on. I know that you're a Arthur/Gwen fan, and I might have been too if things had been done differently. Like, in season 1, Arthur and Morgana (who I ship) had some interest in each other, an interest that seemed to disappear suddenly. If they had been in a relationship but maybe Uther was like, "NO YOU CAN'T BE!" and that's when we find out their related, and after that they kind of lose interest in each other and Arthur realizes he likes Gwen, I could have been down with that. Or even if they had ended it in some other way and THEN portrayed Arthur/Gwen. I hope this paragraph didn't bother you because I didn't mean it to at all, just my opinion.
