I'm actually thinking of having a discussion on my LJ about whether you prefer to have your ship be canon or fanon, and which ones do you tend to go for. It's about half and half for me, though I find for the most part I prefer it to be fanon. But Angel/Cordy and Wes/Lilah did it so perfectly that I love it!
