Yeah, there have been a few fandoms where I didn't actually ship anyone but I wasn't necessarily active in those fandoms, and they weren't HUGE like HP is. So I can't imagine what it must have been like, but I'm sure there were times when it wasn't pretty.
Also? I need more Harry Potter icons. Will go looking for them now!
